About Us
The Northland Television Charitable Trust is a community TV station here in Whangarei.
Our vision is a not for profit TV station that produces relevant programmes about, for and by our community.
Film and video production is one of the fastest growing industries in New Zealand.
The internet, digital television, radio, and telecommunication technology industries are converging and we plan to make sure that our community has a major say in how this exciting era evolves in our region.
We are aiming to encourage the growth of this industry in our area and help make staying in or migrating to Northland a viable and attractive career choice for our creative industries community. We believe that over time, we will build up a community of producers, technicians, artists and talent around the TV station.
Local news papers and radio stations already provide excellent advertising and promotional services to local businesses. We plan on adding another layer to that media mix by offering affordable television advertising to local businesses and the wider community.
But most importantly this is a community TV station. If you have an idea for a programme or would like to get involved in any way, please do not heistate to contact us.

Our TV station will have a strong educational focus
Located at Manaia View School, we want to facilitate the use of digital video in our local schools.
